XMA (X-treme Martial Arts) signifies the transition of martial arts from the traditional towards the contemporary. Having evolved from an ancient form of self-defense, the modern martial arts movement is now more sport and entertainment, while still remaining true to the time-honored principles of Honor, Discipline, Integrity and Respect. XMA is a fusion of all martial arts styles blended together with performance arts, high-flying acrobatic maneuvers and the hottest Hong Kong, chop-saki style action!  Fragmented and Ripe for Change The essence of XMA lies within the development of oneself and the mastery of Leadership Skills that are applied to all areas of life. Anyone can learn to kick, punch and flip through training, like in gymnastics. However, it is the analytical process and method in which one uses to set and accomplish goals and confront the challenges one faces that determines levels of success. It is the mindset of "Knowing No Bounds" that allows one to take initiative, spark ambition and control of one's self to be a responsible and accountable human being and leader with Strength, Respect, Conviction, Integrity and Humility. Traditionally, one tests through belt levels to achieve Black Belt, however, testing is only a measure of knowledge learned. In life, once the tests are completed, we are measured by our performance. In XMA, the application of knowledge and skills are measured through the ability to perform not only within a group but individually through choreographed routines synchronized to music. Presentation of ones self is key. We take traditional "Forms" and "Perform" by adding personality, expression, intensity energy and musical choreography! The ability to analyze strengths and weaknesses to develop strong presentation is mastered through consistent mental, physical, and spiritual training. XMA lays the foundation based upon traditional martial arts skills and philosophies while providing the necessary structure for students to reach beyond their physical and creative boundaries in a revolutionary way combining all martial arts disciplines, philosophies, acrobatics, dance and the performing arts!
